Elbow Case 2 Background

Occult Radial head fracture

Fracture of the head of the radius is the most common fracture about the elbow in adults. The usual mechanism is a fall on the outstretched hand. When the patient falls, the radial head is driven against the capitellum and results in fracture of the weaker radial head or neck.
