Pisiform fracture


History and Physical Exam

Pisiform fractures usually occur from a fall on an outstretched hand with the impact on the hypothenar eminence.

Patients present with pain and swelling at the palmar and ulnar aspects of the wrist and tenderness to palpation over the hypothenar eminence. There is usually no loss of motion in the wrist and no obvious deformity.
