Background
Nonossifying fibroma (NOF) belongs to the clinical spectrum of benign bone lesions, which also includes osteochondroma, osteoid osteoma, and bone cysts amongst other uncommon entities. NOF is usually discovered incidentally, but 20% present with pathologic fractures. They are occasionally painful and generally regress without intervention in adulthood.
