Hand Case 1 Diagnosis

Plain film radiographs - at least three views of the hand should be obtained, including lateral views to measure the degree of dorsal angulation.

No more than 45 degrees of angulation should be allowed in the fifth metacarpal neck fracture; if greater, an attempt at reduction should be performed.
