Fracture of the Greater Tuberosity of the Humerus
Diagnosis
The diagnosis can be made on plain radiographs of the shoulder. An axillary view should be obtained to evaluate the degree of displacement of the fracture. In some cases, a CT scan as an outpatient may be ordered to evaluate the amount of displacement.
