Shoulder Case 2 Additional Images
Scapula Fracture
This film is from a 30 year old male who was an unrestrained driver of a motor vehicle accident and is complaining of right shoulder and back pain. The deformity in the radiograph should prompt you to look for other areas of trauma, including brachial plexus injuries, other orthopedic fractures, lung contusion, hemo- or pneumothorax, head injuries or vascular injuries such as subclavian or axillary artery pathology.
