Spine Case 6 History/Physical Exam

Transverse process fractures usually result from rotation or extreme lateral bending. History and physical examination should focus on detecting neurologic deficits from other spine injuries and detecting more serious injuries (particularly abdominal) since mechanisms of injury tend to be severe.
