Pyogenic granulomas (PGs) are common benign skin growths. Also called granuloma telangiectatium or lobular capillary angioma, they may be idiopathic or after minor trauma. They are raised papules that appear like “minced meat” or “raspberry-like” [1].

The most common issues encountered are bleeding and recurrence of the lesion, even after removal.

Medications associated with increased prevalence of PGs are: indinavir, isotretinoin, capecitabine, vemurafenib, acitretin, and OCPs. Pregnancy is also a risk factor.
